Brand Maverick worked with VH1/Viacom to secure viewership & digital awareness for their first ever made-for-TV movie, CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story

 

Solution

Digital marketing strategies & content marketing via web 2.0 solutions: Brand Maverick offered digital counsel and strategy for the TV Movie and co-executed the digital marketing plan alongside the VH1 and Viacom families.

 

Results

The films premiere generated 4.5 million viewers, making it the highest-rated television film premiere of 2013, as well as the highest-rated original film premiere in VH1 history. Additionally, the show was the most tweeted about event of 2013, generating just shy of 2million tweets during the broadcast.
